I do my images in camera with one click of the shutter. No Photoshop. In the portraits of others, I attempt to capture my subject’s humanity. There is a beauty that lies with in every individual and these portraits show the beauty inside the subject. The projection is used to capture the sitter’s essence. I try to allow the viewer into the subject’s personal space. The purity and energy of an individual is unveiled because the colored light alters the external form. The individual is no longer their exterior self, but their interior self.
