Blue Nectar is my imagined flower; it is “other-worldly”, nonexistent in the nature that we know. In the case of my supernatural flower, I attempt to create a buzz of electricity, by painting with light itself. When photographing flora, I prefer to use white flowers, as the color white enables me to create my own color on top of it, to elicit emotion. In Blue Nectar, painted light traces the trail of a bee as it pollinates the flower.
