Unified Discourse is my effort to display the constant internal dialogue that consumes my mind, and our collective minds. Every breathing moment, I engage in ongoing conversation with my “shadow self”; a conversation between diverse aspects of my conscience as I struggle to make sense of who I am.
Many of my photos are of men physically torn; these are self-portraits that convey my effort to attain the “one-ness” that would come with a better understanding of my emotions. I believe that man journeys toward this sense of completion, and the voice of one’s inner dialog is the compass that guides this journey.
