Just returned from the Azores and used some of my nights for Light Painting. Here is one example from the forest. More on my blog page: https://gunnarheilmann.com/light-painting-trip-to-the-azores

End of April I posted that blog post about flashlights - and I really wanted to create that skyline image. Here is my LED-City tornado.

My latest Camera Rotation at the Pyramid Garzau. Hope you all like this play of colors.

When LightPainters works! Here I a collaborative effort with Zach Allen and Juli Thornton. It was so nice to meet them on their home turf. Of course I wanted to swing some fire. Yes, I got lucky as you see here. The circle was made by Zach (kind of his signature move I guess) and I swung the wings for Juli.
Such a wonderful adventure. Thank you to both.

Exactly what LightPainters is about. Meet people when you travel and Light paint together. This is what happens here with Diliz in Lyon. On my way to the south of France I stopped by in Lyon and we found time to play with the lights. Then have a drink.

This the Monopol. You can light paint there too. Time is ticking... Only a few days till October 5th. Get a bus or train Tor even a plane ticket and join in on this delicious piece of cake. Can someone put another flame on that thing please?

We got an idea! LightupBerlin
Why don't we light paint together one night? Why don't we help and teach each other what we know?

Let's do exactly that! On the 5th of October 2019 we are going to do that at the Monopol in Berlin. We show you how light painting works, we share the tricks and share the tiny secrets. We play together for Day and Night.

During a Visit to Görlitz with Sven Gerard - while he was spinning an orb I was waving the fiber optic wip.

Color Portal Orb - Energy flow - Light Painting

During a Light Painters meetup i was lucky to shoot together with like minded Light Painting friends. We called it Meteor Jam / PNW meet up.
Here we are all on a bridge close to Mt. St. Helen's shooting and shooting and hoping to catch some Shooting Stars.

This very photo is a colaboration with @chrisbauer who light painted the Orb in the center. Thank you sooo much mate. After the grand/epic 'Orb-making' i ran around waving that huge fiber optic wip during the 120 seconds with a ISO 1250 on my 12mm Laowa lens. Again changing the F-Stop in the process; starting with i think was F11 and finish with F2.8 in the last 30 seconds. The rest of the crew hanging out next to my camera and shooting different angles and getting slidly different results.
Dan calls this remixing - we should make that a category ;-)
