My name is Nocturne
I am best known for my Noctography work and light painting in urban exploration.
Light painting has been my passion since 2006. I came up with the term Noctography in 2007.
I exclusively shoot at night in abandoned locations around the UK.
I mainly use flash gun/torch with coloured lighting gels.
What is Noctography?
noc-tog-ra-phy [nok-tog-ruh-fee]
Noun - The process or art of producing images at night.
Noctography is a word that I have invented for night photography. It is a portmanteau of the words "nocturnal" and "photography".
It is my dream that Noctography gets used so often that it becomes an official word in the English dictionary.
