About me
Sometimes you get a present which changes the way you view the world. At first this unassuming gift seemed nothing more then a thoughtful gesture from a close friend. The gift, a Nikon D5200 camera and it changed my life. Back in November of 2015 was when we first became acquainted, like many relationships we were inseparable. The manner in which I viewed my home city of Cologne, Germany was completely transformed and I had realized my true passion for photography. This was the creative release I needed from my busy life in the restaurant industry. The people and places that I so often walked past for years without truly noticing, have now taken on a new dimension through the lens of my camera. Every image has become a personal challenge for me to take my creativity and equipment to the limit. With each picture I explore the impact and effect of lighting and composition, attempting to tell my story without words. I invite you to join me on a journey where I document life in Cologne through the lens of my camera. The lightpainting gives me even more space to awaken my creative instincts.
