I discovered light painting in 2009 when I stumbled upon the work of Twin Cities Brightest on Flickr. I was instantly hooked after buying some dollar store keychain lights and trying some 15-second exposures with my Canon Powershot. I light paint under the name of Stimulight the Night. My favorite light paintings involve product photography, double exposures, light stencils, light writing, and star trails.
