I picked a camera for the first time in 2008, and quickly discovered Light Painting. It changed, and probably saved, my life. My real passion is teaching people the artform, and manufacturing tools to help people who are unable to make their own, or who want to take it up a notch. The light painting community is, and always been complex, but has also been incredibly progressive, constantly evolving and has now reached the mainstream of international photography. I love that, and I love being involved. I passionately believe that gear has very little to do with the end result of light painting images. Great art comes from a passionate approach along with an open mind and heart. Peace, Denis
