My name is John, and I am in the pursuit of rediscovering my passions for light painting and light spinning. I don't have much media from my early days of practice, but my current dream is to create a portfolio of new images. I am eager to create planned events, simply meet for conversation and informational exchange on experience of tools and ideas, and collaborate.

As a photographer, I am relearning the ropes with my Nikon D850 and will relearning how to calibrate star trackers for astrophotography.

As a light painter, my current tools are minimal: a visual stick from LightToys, capsule lights from Flowtoys, a few flashlights and remote flashes.

As a light spinner, my passion is mostly within drawing patterns with poi, a ball on a string, and utilizing the kinesthetic aspects to improve one's bloodflow and health.

My plan is to travel within the US, so if you are in the US and share a similar goal, I will passionately share my thoughts and experience.
